Andrew Haener

Andrew Haener (he/him) is an illustrator making lively and energetic work, bustling with powerful geometry, mysticism, and personality. He champions American working class life and aims to forge inter-community dialogues through storytelling and familiar characters. By incorporating a straightforward, symbol-driven visual language, his images strive to communicate as clearly as possible with carefully selected color palettes, rich organic textures, and an unwavering sense of humor. He holds an MFA in Illustration Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a BFA in Graphic Design from Missouri State University.

His work has been seen in The New Yorker, Washington Post, The New York Times, NPR, Chief Investment Officer, Chicago Reader, PLANSPONSOR, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Points In Case, The UPS Store, Rated SGF Film Festival, Full Bleed Magazine, Culture Flock, and more.
